Looks like this should be a unique, one-of-a-kind 3D printer that is currently on a campaign on Kickstarter — Focus by 3D By Flow, a Netherlands company.

With 20 days more to go till June 14, 2015 – the campaign for Focus has garnered 15 backers, with €14,505 pledged of its €50,000 goal.

What makes Focus 3D printer one-of-a kind? It is multi-material and ultra-portable 3D printer, of premium Dutch design & manufacturing, accessible to everyone, anywhere, as it says on the Kickstarter site.

Being multi-material makes it possible for Focus to print with different materials, such as PLA, ABS, wood, bio-rubber, nylon, bronze, ceramic, silicon as well as edible materials such as chocolate. The printer uses magnets to aid an easy extruder switch.

With easily exchangeable extruders, the possibility of printing different materials seems endless, and making this easy is the software specially developed with electronic extruder recognition capabilities. The different extruders will be a filament-, paste-, and granulate extruder (still in development), to make working with all kinds of materials easy and straight-forward.

Moreover, it is designed to be carried anywhere you go: The Focus can be folded into a compact suitcase and can be taken anywhere. The suitcase only will be 7 kg, and helps protect against dust and other contaminants that can ruin your prints.

As with other projects on crowdfunding sites like Kickstarter, backers have several price options to choose from with their corresponding rewards. Thus, for those wanting to get hold of a full unit of Focus 3D By Flow, they can pledge €2,250 or more, and estimated delivery is December 2015 with shipping to any part in the world.
